Jakarta-The hype of online shopping (e-commerce) made PT Artajasa Pembayaran Elektronis (Artajasa) as ATM Bersama service company provider developed its payment system to be used for e-commerce.

“We will develop payment system for e-commerce, bank that have ATM Bersama logo should connect the bank so we can enable the e-commerce transaction,” Operational Director of Artajasa, Bayu Hanantasena said in break fasting event with medias, at Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Jakarta, Tuesday (28/6/16).

He added, Artajasa has cooperated with 20 merchants now, with this system hopefully the number will reach to 250 merchants.

“We have cooperated with 20 merchants that connected, we are targeting 250 merchants and marketplace in the future,” Bayu said.

He said the system is predicted to operate in early 2017.

“We are planning in early 2017 the payment system is ready to use. The investment is quite small, not even reach US$1 Million. Because we are developing by ourselves,” Bayu added.
