PT Artajasa Pembayaran Elektronis (Artajasa) founded in February 10, 2000 as a pioneer of electronic payment system in Indonesia. Artajasa is principal of ATM BERSAMA which is the largest shared ATM network in Indonesia consist of Banks and non-bank institutions. ATM BERSAMA also connected to other cross border principals such as MEPS from Malaysia and other countries. Currently, 87 institutions have joined with ATM BERSAMA network which connected over 62.000 ATMs nationwide.

Beside as ATM Bersama’s principal, Artajasa also develops a billing payments network for various industries such as education, electricity, telecommunication, transportation, insurance, and multi-finance.

With 15 years experiencing in the payment system development, Artajasa expands its services for providing convenience payments such as delivery channel, electronic money, and payment instrument solutions, etc.

Artajasa is committed to assist innovation for business partners with the support of approximately 200 employees who has expertise in a field of information technology solution. Milestones

  • Year 2000

    Artajasa was founded with the aim to be the leader in providing integrated and efficient electronic transactions.

  • Year 2002

    Attained a license from The Central Bank of Indonesia to open RTGS account to become the only non-bank institution to have an account at BI RTGS. Artajasa started managing ATM Bersama. Launched Online Settlements, for easy in settlement of all transactions at ATM Bersama for Members of ATM Bersama

  • Year 2003

    Online payment services expanded to multi-finance industry.

  • Year 2004

    Implementing the first in the world real-time-online bank-to-bank fund transfer via ATM

    Provided services, enabling consumers to do, real-time online bank-to-bank (three-partied) transfer via ATM. This being the first in the world and was quickly followed by other switching companies.

  • Year 2005

    Artajasa expanded its scope of operations by signing agreements with MEPS (Malaysia) to enable customers of banks and members of ATM Bersama to do transactions in Malaysia, and vice versa

  • Year 2006

    Implemented Online Settlement for Payment Gateway services.

  • Year 2007

    Artajasa is one of the initiators of Asian Payment Network (APN) aiming to connect all switches companies in Asia.

    Launched BPDnet Online, a service that make BPD’s customers can do banking transactions through other BPD’s office.

  • Year 2008

    Artajasa entered Electronic Channel business by providing outsourced delivery channel services for financial industry.

    Initiated standardize specifications for national ATM and debit card chip

  • Year 2009

    Artajasa received an award from The Central Bank of Indonesia for participation in setting up the National Standards for Indonesian Chip Card specification (NSICCS) ATM / Debit card.

  • Year 2010

    Provided remiitance service for Indonesian workers in Hong Kong and Malaysia.

  • Year 2011

    Artajasa provided integrated electronic transaction delivery channels for Banks.

  • Year 2012

    Artajasa received ISO 27001:2005 certification for security systems of ATM Bersama service.

  • Year 2013

    Artajasa obtained Debit Card Acquiring License issued by the Central Bank of Indonesia, as part of our commitment to expand E-Channel service and coverage.
